MASS WITH COMMUNAL ANOINTING OF THE SICK
On Saturday, June 6th at 10:00AM in the school
gymnasium we will celebrate Mass with the Communal
Anointing of the Sick. This Mass and Communal Anointing will
be in Spanish. After the summer in the early autumn we will
celebrate Mass with Communal Anointing of the Sick in
English. The date and time for this celebration will be
announced later.
PASTORAL COUNCIL
Our parish Pastoral Council is planning to add new
members to the Council to begin after the summer in
September. The Pastoral Council works for the ongoing
development of the ministries in our parish. New members will
join with our current council when it meets for its’ annual yearend review and planning for the future. Service on the council
includes a monthly meeting from September through June and
a few hours of committee work between the regular meetings
each month. If you would like to serve on the Council, please
speak with Fr. Madden.
PARISH PICNIC
Our annual parish picnic will take place in two weeks
on Sunday, June 14th, at Bowline Park. Tickets are available
at $5 for individuals and $15 for a family. The ticket price
covers hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, coffee, games for children
and a great time of visiting with old friends and meeting new
friends. Please bring dessert to share at the picnic. In order that
our parishioners who speak Spanish might take part in the picnic, on

the evening before the picnic, on Saturday, June 13 , at 7:30PM, in
our church, there will be a Mass offered in Spanish.
Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus
Christi) Sunday, June 7th. This year we will begin our
annual procession at 12Noon in front of our church. In
order to do this we will adjust our Mass schedule for that
day: our 11:15AM Mass will begin at 11:00AM; our
12:45PM Mass will begin at 1:00PM.

MISA CON UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS COMUNITARIA
Celebraremos una misa en español el sábado, 6º de junio a la
10:00AM, en el gimnasio de la escuela, Celebraremos una misa
comunitaria con la unión de los enfermos. Después del verano
celebraremos una misa comunitaria con unción de los enfermos en
Ingles temprano en el otoño en el gimnasio de la escuela. La fecha y

CONCILIO PARROQUIAL
Nuestro Concilio Pastoral está planeando agregar nuevos
miembros para después del verano, en el mes de Septiembre. El
Concilio Pastoral trabaja por el continuo desarrollo de los ministerios
de la parroquia. Los nuevos miembros se reunirán con los miembros
actuales cuando el concilio se reúna en su reunión evaluativa y de
planeamiento de sus acciones futuras. Los servicios en el concilio
incluyen una reunión mensual, entre Septiembre y Junio y varias horas
de trabajo de los comités entre una y otra reunión mensual. Si le

DIA DE CAMPO PARROQUIAL
Nuestro Día de Campo Parroquial tomará lugar dentro de dos
semanas, el domingo 14º de junio, en el Parque Bowline. Los boletos
están disponibles a $5 por individuos y a $15 por familias. El costo del
boleto cubre las hamburguesas, hot dogs, sodas, café, juego para los

Dear Friends in the Lord:
By virtue of our baptism into Christ Jesus, we are all
missionaries, beginning with our own families and parishes.
Like the apostles, we are encouraged to reach out to our
brothers and sisters in faith, love, and sacrifice. We must do
our best to continue to build the Lord’s kingdom in our world.
We invite you to help build our mission to the
missions by supporting the Black and Indian Mission
Collection.
Your support will provide the presence of
missionaries here in African American, Native American,
and Alaska Native missions, schools, and religious
education programs. Your participation places bibles and
catechetical materials in the hands of priests,
consecrated women and men, and lay leaders in Black
Catholic communities in the Diocese of Jackson,
Mississippi; in Native American pueblos in the
Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico; in the far
reaching villages of Alaska; and in so many other places.
Your sacrifice addresses the need to train catechists,
permanent deacons, and seminarians for future
generations in many of our neighborhoods and
backyards.
Pope Francis reminds us in Lumen Fidei(51); “Faith
helps us build our societies in such a way that they can
journey towards a future of hope.” Your prayer needs to
be constant as, together, we join our hearts and hands,
always serving the Christian communities in love and in
imitation of Christ, the first missionary sent from the
Creator.
In solidarity with our Holy Father and with each
other: “The hands of faith are raised up to heaven, even
as they go about building in charity a city based on
relationships in which the love of God is laid as a
foundation.” (Lumen Fidei, 51).

GOD’S TYM TEENS
Our Gods’ TYM Teens raised $651 for Helping Hands to
help purchase a new van for transport for those who are
homeless to shelters next winter. Thank you for your
support of their efforts.
Our Finance Council has discussed the needs of our
parish buildings and properties: our church, our school,
our parking lots and our cemetery. When work estimates
have been completed a presentation will be made to our
parishioners.
