ABOUT THE EXPO
The MobileWeek Conference & Hackathon 2014 is set up to be an open floor plan with minimal walls
or closed off spaces, so as to promote attendees mixing between booths and the surrounding expo
area. We find this open cooperative format helps encourage attendee’s discovery of new companies
and technologies, and makes the expo area more of an open networking hub than privatized work
rooms.
ABOUT MOBILEWEEK 2014
MobileWeek Conference & Hackathon 2014 (April 14) is the first dev conference that invites thousands of developers not just to learn new skills – but to build new apps, startups, and product features
within one week.
Smart Phones, Smart TV’s, Tablets, and Wearables are the fastest growing area of technology
innovation. MobileWeek 2014 is conference, hackathon, and week-long series of events across New
York City where the next generation of engneers, entrepreneurs, and executives master the skills
behind the mobile revolution.
Philosophy
Mobile + Device development is the enabler of a connected life. We are facing the second generation
of mobile technology, where smart phones and devices are more than just an extension of the desktop
web – they are creating new touchpoints across health, communication, entertainment, business,
and technology. Smart phones and devices are not “the new desktop”, they are a new way to live and
work.
