THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME CASH CLUB We are looking for two individuals to co-chair our Cash Club this year. If you are interested please contact the parish office. Time is of the essence: tickets have been mailed. Early Bird drawing is November 1, 2014. Cash Club date is November 15, 2014 starting at 6:30pm. Our Spaghetti Supper is fast approaching and as always we are looking for many hands. If you are interested in helping out for the spaghetti supper please attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the parish center. Once again we will be selling tickets for the Community Days at the Bon-Ton. The event will be held on November 14 and November 15. The tickets will be on sale in October before and after Masses. The coupons are $5 each and have over $500 in exclusive coupon savings. If you are able to help sell tickets before or after Masses in October, contact the office. Also, if you should want tickets to sell outside of the church, contact the office. We are looking for three parishioners that feel the calling to serve on the Parish Council. Those interested should be members of our parish, regularly attend mass, and regularly receive the sacraments. If you feel that God is calling you to serve in this capacity please submit a letter of interest to Fr. Peter no later than November 9, 2014. You may place your letter in the weekly collection of the mass that you attend with Fr. Peter's name clearly printed on the envelope, or you may mail your letter to the parish. This year All Saints Day is not a holy day of obligation, however, I hope you will celebrate together the solemn Holy Mass on Friday, October 31 (Vigil) at 5:30PM and on Saturday November 1 at 9AM. This Sunday, October 26 and Sunday, November 2 at 3:00PM in the church, we will pray the Rosary for all our deceased loved ones whose names you place on the special envelopes for All Souls. Please return these envelopes in the collection on Sunday, November 2 at the latest. We will remember them in a very special way during the whole month of November.
