healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure
illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits.
May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and
so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through
the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.
The recently DECEASED:
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon them…
An Act of
Spiritual
Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You
were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
CASH CLUB
We are looking for two individuals to co-chair our Cash Club
this year. If you are interested please contact the parish
office. Time is of the essence: tickets have been mailed.
Early Bird drawing is November 1, 2014. Cash Club date is
November 15, 2014 starting at 6:30pm.
Our Spaghetti Supper is fast approaching and as
always we are looking for many hands. If you are
interested in helping out for the spaghetti supper please
attend an informational meeting on Wednesday,
October 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the parish center.
Once again we will be selling tickets for the Community
Days at the Bon-Ton. The event will be held on November
14 and November 15. The tickets will be on sale in October
before and after Masses. The coupons are $5 each and have
over $500 in exclusive coupon savings. If you are able to
help sell tickets before or after Masses in October, contact
the office. Also, if you should want tickets to sell outside of
the church, contact the office.
We are looking for three parishioners that feel the
calling to serve on the Parish Council. Those interested
should be members of our parish, regularly attend mass,
and regularly receive the sacraments. If you feel that
God is calling you to serve in this capacity please
submit a letter of interest to Fr. Peter no later
than November 9, 2014. You may place your letter in
the weekly collection of the mass that you attend with
Fr. Peter's name clearly printed on the envelope, or you
may mail your letter to the parish.
This year All Saints Day is not a holy day of obligation,
however, I hope you will celebrate together the solemn
Holy Mass on Friday, October 31 (Vigil) at 5:30PM
and on Saturday November 1 at 9AM.
This Sunday, October 26 and Sunday,
November 2 at 3:00PM in the church, we will
pray the Rosary for all our deceased loved
ones whose names you place on the special
