THANK YOU - We have received thank you notes from Keith Allen and The Blasingame

COLLECTION - We are collecting men’s coats, caps and gloves which will be distributed to
the men at the Day Labor Center. Please bring donations and place them in the HOPE
Box. Thank you.
LADIES BIBLE CLASS – November 19 - Lesson 4, DVD and Discussion
WEDDING RECEPTION - Everyone is invited to a reception celebrating the marriage of
Katherine Baker, daughter of John and Carolyn Baker, and David Buchanan on Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 PM in Room 142.
BLOOD DRIVE - Our next Blood Drive will be on Sunday, December 7, from 4:00 to 8:00
PM in the Family Center.
BOLES HOME PARTY INFO - Please come by the table in the Family Center to sign up to
buy a gift for one of the girls from Foster Cottage at Boles Home. If you are willing to help

MISSING SANTA SUIT - We are missing a santa suit that was last seen in the Bible Hour

BIRTHDAY RECEPTION - You are invited to a reception honoring Leon McIlroy on his

RAY VANDER LAAN SEMINAR - Registration is now open online for the Ray Vander
Laan seminar which will be at Saturn Road on January 9 - 11. Cost for the seminar is
$10.00 per person. Childcare will be provided for infants through 5th Grade at $5.00 per
day per child, but you must pre-register via our website. Childcare space is limited, so be
sure to sign up as soon as possible. Teens and Adults can also register in the Family Center.

BIBLE SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK
BIBLE SCHOLAR OF THE WEEK - Congratulations to Barbara Oberg! She was the first to
respond with the correct answer to our Bible Trivia Question which was in our online bulletin
e-mail last week. In case you missed it, the question was, “What king sent an exiled priest back
to Samaria to teach the Gentiles there how to follow God?” The correct answer was “the king
of Assyria.”
SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED TO
Our sympathy is extended to Joyce and Greg Justice, Jeff and Sara Justice and Wayne
Dalton and their family on the death of Joyce's mother, Jeff's grandmother and
Wayne's sister, Jackie Furrh, who passed away on November 14. Funeral arrangements
are pending with New Hope Funeral Home in Mesquite.
Our sympathy is extended to the friends and family of former member, Doris Lemmons, who
passed away on November 7. Funeral services were November 11.
Our sympathy is extended to Karen, Cody, Malissa, Corey, and Jennifer Rose and their family on the death of Karen’s brother and Cody’s and Corey’s uncle, Vance Blanton, who
passed away on November 13. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, November
18, at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Saturn Road. Vance was also the nephew of Linda Baker
and a cousin of Jerry Stettheimer.
Our sympathy is extended to former members Doug and Jill Stickler and their family on the
death of Doug's mother, Patti Stickler. The celebration of her life was held on November 12
in Oklahoma City.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION FOR CALDWELL ELEMENTARY
Your help is needed in a new effort to assist our neighborhood school, Caldwell Elementary, in raising $1000 this school year through the Box Tops for Education program. Clip "Box Tops for Education" from grocery and household item packaging and place
