Christmas Food Drive Every year our community reaches out to those less fortunate and put a smile on their face at Christmas. Our food drive begins this weekend, th th Nov. 29 & 30 . You may bring your donations of non-perishable foods to the bin in the hallway. Healing Mass The St. David’s Prayer Group will be having a Eucharistic Celebration and Healing Service on st Monday, December 1 at 7:30 pm with Fr. Ernie presiding. Please join us for this evening of prayer and praise. Everyone is welcome!!! First Confessions Please pray for the children of our parish who will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. May God always bless these little ones. First Friday & First Saturday th This Friday, December 5 , there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, ending with Benediction. Masses will be celebrated at 7:30 am and 7:30 pm. (Confessions will be heard at 8:00 am.) On Saturday, December th 6 , after the 7:30 am Mass, there will be a Holy Hour of Adoration with Meditated Rosary. Sale of Holy Land Olive Wood Products Next weekend after all the Masses there will be a sale of religious articles from the Holy Land made of beautiful olive wood in support of our Christian brothers and sisters who live in the land of Jesus. Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception th On Monday, December 8 , we celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, beginning with Rosary at 7:00 pm, followed by a procession and Solemn Mass at 7:30 pm, and ending with a coffee hour in the Parish Hall. Please bring some cookies and/or cake to share with everyone. Join us and bring your friends. Advent Penance Service Mark your calendar and come out for confession th on Thursday, December 18 at 7:30 pm. There will be numerous priests available for reconciliation (in various languages). K. of C. Christmas Cards The Knights of Columbus will be having their annual Christmas Card sale at the back of the Church after most Masses starting this weekend. Our theme, as always, is to “Keep Christ in CHRISTmas”!!! This means all of the cards have a holy theme. This year we will be offering cards in English, Italian and a few other languages. Proceeds will go to charity, so please support us by buying beautiful, high quality Christmas cards. Downtown Toronto Homeless Visit Following a faith-filled and eye-opening retreat last weekend, the youth of our parish will be putting what they learned into practice by doing their annual visit to the Scott Mission (Men’s Shelter) th on Saturday, Dec. 13 , and are collecting sleeping bags, hats, blankets, scarves, gloves and warm socks for the homeless. Please drop off the items th in the parish hall no later than December 5 . Let’s encourage and support our young people in this worthy endeavour. Thank you!!!!! Youth Group Fundraiser- Christmas Raffle The Youth Group is doing some fundraising to support their activities and will hold a Christmas Raffle. Tickets will be sold on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 at all the Masses. The draw will take place after the 5:30 pm mass on December st 21 . Please support the Youth Group. St. Andre Bessette Dinner Dance Our neighbouring parish will hold its first annual Fundraiser Christmas Dinner and Dance on th Friday, Dec. 19 at the Premier Place Banquet Hall, beginning with cocktails at 6:30 pm and dinner at 7:30 pm. Primo Venerdì e Primo Sabato Questo venerdì, 5 dicembre, ci sarà l’esposizione del Santissimo Sacramento in chiesa dalle 8:00 am alle 7:00 pm (ci saranno le confessioni alle 8:00 am). Questo sabato, 6 dicembre, dopo la Messe delle 7:30 am, ci sarà l’adorazione e rosario meditato. Solennità dell’Immacolata Concezione Lunedì, 8 dicembre, celebriamo con grande gioia l’Immacolata Concezione della Beata Vergine Maria, iniziando con la recita del santo rosario alle 7:00 pm, seguito da processione e Messa Solenne alle 7:30 pm. Ci sarà un’ora di caffé dopo la Messa nella sala parrocchiale; come sempre, vi invitiamo di portare qualche dolci (biscotti!!!) a condividere con tutti.
