FROM TODAY’S GOSPEL READINGS:
Russino, Dolly DiJoseph, Theresa Ripoli, Madeleine
Dziena, Bryan Anderson.
Our readings today continue the ideas expressed in
.
the readings from the last two Sundays: we must be
ready and watchful. Of course, what is different
today is that we are beginning a new season of the
Church year. But let us listen to God speaking to us
through Isaiah: “Would that you might meet us doing
right, that we were mindful of you in our ways!”
Listen for what God is asking of you today, as we
begin this new season of watching and waiting.
Also, please pray for those seeking jobs. Please call
the Rectory to add a name to this list.
PLEASE PRAY TO SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED
PRAYER IS AN EASY AND POWERFUL ACTION!
PARISH & COMMUNITY NEWS
WELCOME TO OUR PARISH COMMUNITY!
On November 23rd, after the 11:00 Mass, Francis
Farinella, III, son of Francis Farinella, Jr. and Noelle
Liquori, was Baptized. Born of Water and the Holy
Spirit, Francis was received into the Roman Catholic
Community and began his journey of faith that will
last throughout his lifetime. Congratulations to the
Farinella/Liquori Family. Please keep Francis and his
family in your prayers.

The office of the Archbishop has informed us that
Archbishop Chaput will confirm our children

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
reserve you Christmas Dinner Ticket.
Our Parish Christmas Giving tree is now in place in the
Upper Church. Please remove tag-ornaments from the tree
and purchase the exact item that is wished for by a student
from St. Katherine’s Day School. (This is a Catholic School
for Special Children located on the St. Charles Borromeo
Seminary property in Wynnewood, PA). It is very important
to purchase the exact item that is listed on the tag, because
these requests are very specific to the child’s wish for a
certain toy/gift and their developmental age level. We also
ask that you stay close to the $30-$50 minimum/maximum
limit amount for the gift.
All gifts must be brought to Church on the weekends of
December 6-7 and 13-14 because Santa Claus and his
helpers will visit Saint Katherine’s on Wednesday,
December 17.
Thank you for considering to make a special child’s wish
come true by taking a tag-ornament from our Giving Tree!
Giving is a Special way to be Christ-like, especially during
This Christmas Season!

information for the “Tree of Life” Leaf on one side and
