EXCHANGE COVENANT OF SERVICE
Accepting the divine privilege of single and collective responsibility as life's noblest gift, I covenant with my fellow Exchangites:
To consecrate my best energies to the uplifting of Social, Religious,
Political and Business ideals;
To discharge the debt I owe to those of high and low estate who
have served and sacrificed that the
heritage of the American citizenship might be mine;
To honor and respect law, to serve my fellowman, and to uphold
the ideals and institutions of my
Country;
To implant the life-giving, society-building spirit of Service and
comradeship in my social and business relationships.
To serve in Unity with those seeking better
conditions, better understandings, and greater
opportunities for all.

MISSION STATEMENT
Exchange, America’s premier service
club, working to make our
communities better places to live.
PROGRAMS
Bill Deason November Programs Chairman, has arranged
the second One Nation Under God program for this Thursday’s luncheon. Vince Settle, III, local attorney partnered
with Ronald Thomas with over 60 years of combined legal
service, will speak to our club about our need to recognize
One Nation Under God.
Next week Thursday we have no luncheon meeting as we
recognize Thanksgiving holiday and thank God for our blessings.
FAIR BOOTH PRIZES
This year, our club’s board has organized a Fair Booth Award
program to honor the best-looking business and decorated
booth displaying their product. Third place was awarded
to Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church. Second place
winner was awarded to Hoboken Building and Supply. The
first place winner selected is Odeh Cabinetry Designs. The
company’s owner and designer is Emad Odeh at 512 City
Blvd., Suite G in Waycross. The telephone number is 912-3372199 and email: odehcabinetrydesigns.com. Plaques and
cash awards were given to each winner.
OKEFENOKEE AGRICULTURAL FAIR MIDWAY
AMUSEMENTS OF AMERICA
Jonathon Daniell introduced the owner and staff of our
fair midway, Amusements of America. Morris Viovnna, Jr.
is the owner. Mike Inman local fair worker with the midway
spoke about the history of the company in our area. Inman’s
relationship started with grandfather selling ice cream in the
1920’s,Mike Inman started in the 1970’s.
Some of the fair acts were shown to members last week
at our luncheon. Lady Houdini, tied up in thick rope by Jim
LeBrun, removed Jim’s coat behind a curtain and placed it
under the ropes, wearing it in nine seconds. Amazing! Mesha
Braun presented a show of dog balancing on two front legs
and then on two back legs, on her hand. Some of the great
acts seen at our fair.
MARK WILLIAMS
ONE NATION UNDER GOD
Bill Deason introduced First Baptist Minister of Music, Mark
Williams and his accompanist, pianist Jennifer Crummey to
recognize One Nation Under God in our country. Mr. Williams
sang several patriotic songs to mark the occasion including:
“I’m Just A Flag Waving America,” This is My Country”, “You’re A
Grand Ol’ Flag”, “Suwanne River”, “Melodies Bring Memories”,
“I’m So Glad to be an American”, “America”, and everyone finished singing “God Bless America.” Great program, Bill!
HIGHLIGHTS OF 96TH
NATIONAL CONVENTION
President Tom and First Lady Mary Karnes welcomed
Exchangites to the 96th National Exchange Convention in
New Orleans in July. President Karnes, as noted in “exchange
today” commented in his article on dedicated Exchangites as
“it’s not just one thing we do... it is part of who we are. It’s
not something that begins and ends with club meetings...
it’s something that defines our daily lives. We are united in
service and working together to make communities better
places to live. We hold values of Family, Community and
Country.” Read your Fall 2014 issue for more of President
Karnes’ welcome.
President Tony Tanner and
Bill Deason stand with
and thank Mark Williams
and Jennifer Crummey for
presenting patriotic music
for the One Nation Under
God program. 
