“Celebrate the Feast of Christmas every day,
even every moment in the interior temple of your spirit,
remaining like a baby in the bosom of the Heavenly Father, where
you will be reborn each moment in the Divine Word, Jesus Christ.”

May the grace of the infant Jesus
always be present in your lives
and especially throughout the
New Year.
Merry Christmas,

ST. MARY'S CHURCH DECORATIONS: Since 1795, the decoration of St.
Mary Catholic Church and Sanctuary has been an important expression of
the reverent observance of Advent and the joyful celebration of Christmas.
With a rich heritage more than two centuries old, St. Mary's has always
maintained a distinctly liturgical and historic appearance. On Wednesday,
December 24, 2014 between the last Advent Masses, the Guild and the
florist will install the Christmas Season settings. Decorations will be
maintained through the Twelve Days of Christmas. After that time, selected
decorations including the Crèche and Christmas decorations will remain in
place until Monday, February 2, 2015 (the Feast of the Presentation, also
known as "Candlemas") following the Vatican tradition. Church decorations,
flowers and vintage Crèche figures, designed to give glory to “our newborn
King,” also remind us of the great gift of the Catholic Faith which our
ancestors have handed down to us. To protect and preserve our Christmas
decorations for future generations, we ask everyone to please refrain from
touching the crèche figures, Christmas flowers and ornaments – instead, let
them prayerfully touch you. May you experience the many blessings of the
Christmas Season!
Hail and Blessed be the hour and moment in which the
Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary,
at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold.
In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God!
To hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of
Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother.
Amen.

be able to rest. Adore Him in
your heart. ...Dwell with Him
continuously in your own heart.
He will be your strength.’”
