We are forever grateful for Your great love for
us and for our world. Open our hearts, give us
Your Spirit and show us how to share Your
love so that we may bring hope to a world in
need of Your justice and peace.
We ask for the humility to reform our lives; the
courage to commit ourselves to You no matter
the cost; and the wisdom to shine the light of
faith on others.
Bless us, too, and all our families and friends as
this New Year dawns. In all things that happen this year we ask that we would be aware
of Your presence, O Lord.
As we walk in the newness of the light, keep us
in love with one another and ready to say “yes”
to Your call as Mary has taught us.
Bless us, Father as we begin this year, We pray
to be a sign of your grace in this new year
through your son, Jesus Christ, who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
Amen
