A rare occurrence of a routine illness stole his sight, leaving the small– town Kentucky boy's dreams of football and fun languishing on the sidelines. Having given his heart to Jesus merely a year before the illness, Travis knew one thing: God was still the light for his life. Travis, now a Southern Baptist Minister, shares a powerful story of reliance on God. Sunday Nights... 9AM Sunday School. At VBC, we offer Sunday School classes for children birth through 5th grade. Right now, our Preschool Curriculum is First Look and our older children are about to begin The Gospel Project. 6pm Bible Drill & Bible Buddies. Throughout the spring, our Sunday night programming offers children of all ages the opportunity to learn, memorize and understand scripture, while still having fun! At VBC, we want our children to be equipped with the knowledge of the Word of God. 10:30AM Worship. In “The Zone,” a large group of K-5th graders and adults gather together for exciting worship, Bible teaching, games and much more all for the purpose of learning about Christ in an atmosphere that makes sense to kids. “The Zone” takes place the last three Sundays of each month. Wee Worship is a time for our preschoolers to come together in one group and sing songs, watch a video of their Bible lesson and begin an understanding of what worship is all about. Coming Up... VBS—Journey Off the Map August 3. Kids On Discovery trip Wednesday Nights... 6PM Children’s Choir. We offer choir for children ages two and up! Your children will have a wonderful time learning the fundamentals of music while they begin to understand the meaning of worship. This spring, our children will present a musical, as well! 6:45PM RAs, GAs and Mission Friends. Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action are Bible-centered, educational programs that focus on teaching both boys and girls about the importance of global missions and their part in that. Our preschoolers get to participate in Mission Friends where they will also get to hear about God’s love and learn that others need to hear it, too! Questions?
