The new construction will consist of modifications to existing tracks as well as the

located to the north of the existing 700 Yard tracks. A gravel access road will
encompass the perimeter of the yard, at-grade crossings will consist of precast
concrete panels and paved asphalt approaches. Existing utilities will be encased.
Grading and drainage will consist of a network of solid storm drain lines and
perforated underdrain piping. The piping will channel the water to a number of new
storm drain structures that will drain into several existing storm drain trunk lines and
outfall to an existing drainage canal. Several sections of these existing trunk lines
will be replaced to accommodate the new track construction. This project will
conform to the latest version of City of Stockton, Caltrans, UPRR, and AREMA
Standards and Specifications.

classrooms on the Lowell campus with a permanent classroom complex consisting

including exterior lighting, improve circulation, upgrade underground utilities and
ADA access.
INTERIM HOUSING: In addition, (5) five new temporary relocatable classrooms
and (2) two new temporary relocatable toilet buildings will be provided by the District
as interim housing and will be located on the adjacent existing basketball court for
the construction duration. All utilities and sitework associated with these new
relocatables will be provided by this Contract. This Contractor will also be
responsible for the hazardous material removal and utility disconnection of for all
the existing relocatables and will be required to demolish and remove (7) seven
relocatable classrooms and (2) two portable toilet buildings.
After construction completion of the new classroom buildings, the utilities from the
interim housing relocatable buildings will be disconnected in preparation for the
District removal of these relocatables. The existing basketball court will be resurfaced and re-striped and new basketball poles and backstops will be installed to
restore the court to the original condition.
