Reception Drinks
Please let us know exactly how you would prefer the bars and your drinks reception to run. Some couples prefer to ensure there is a ‘free bar’
for their guests and ensure that no one runs dry, whilst others would like guests to pay for some of their drinks later on. Please just let us know

We do have our own Middleton Lodge real ale on tap however if you would prefer an additional real ale please ask & we can put one on the bar
for you. Unfortunately real ale does not last long so if you do want additional ale we do have to charge for a complete 80 pint keg. Unsold real
ale from your wedding will be charged at cost price.

It has always been our policy to be completely clear and straightforward regarding pricing, so please bear in mind the following:
1. Prices herein include VAT @ 20%.
2. Prices in our all-inclusive menus include table linen, napkins crockery, cutlery, glassware & service.
3. The packages include the facility of the licensed bar.
4. Our prices can vary depending on the time of year, including additional charges on certain days over the Christmas and New Year period, as
well as a 10% discount in January.
5. Our menus are updated and we apply our annual inflationary rise on the 1 st January. Additional bar tariffs are charged at the prevailing rate at
the date of your final invoice and are therefore subject to change.
Finally…
We cannot guarantee the absence of nuts or nut products in any of our food. We will endeavour to ensure that any other item that might cause a
particular individual a dietary complication will be omitted from their meal. However, we cannot guarantee that trace elements may not be
present in the food. Whilst we will always endeavour to seat your guests for your meal at a pre-arranged time, we cannot absolutely guarantee
this.
We are very happy to incorporate some of your personal touches into the plans for the day (cake decorations, bridal gifts etc) but we cannot be
held responsible for the safekeeping of any personal possessions or property. We are happy to help you set up the tables in the marquee and
will place your name cards, favour etc. You are welcome to hang bunting along the walls of the marquee, however anything attached to the
poles must be done so by a member of the Middleton Lodge team.
All candles must be non-drip and enclosed for safety. Any damage to table cloths will be charged to your main bill.
Due to the variation in sizes and styles of wedding cakes we do not provide a cake stand. Please ask your cake supplier to provide this for you.
We do provide a cake knife.
If you would like a wedding cheese cake in addition to your evening food we have a service charge of £2pp to provide biscuits, fruit, homemade
chutneys, & service. We do not charge for normal wedding cakes.
We always cater for one choice plus all dietary requirements. If you would like two choices per course plus dietary requirements we can offer
this for an additional £2pp.
All deposits are non-refundable; cancellation of an event will incur a sliding scale of charge based on projected final invoice. We strongly
recommend you take out wedding insurance. Please see www.compare-wedding-insurance.com.
If at any stage during our service you are concerned about any aspect of your day, please bring it to our immediate attention in order that we
can attempt to resolve matters for you there and then. We are largely unable to resolve such problems after the event.
In extreme situations, we reserve the right to make any suitable menu substitution we consider necessary should the need arise.
