Bromley Temple Corps

Prayer Requests from The Light:
Bromley Temple Corps
Two family situations have been posted on The Light prayer board this week.
They are both serious situations and names have, therefore, been withheld.
However, the Lord knows about the families involved and will hear our prayers:
Corps Officers
Lt. Colonels Graham & Kirsten Owen
Please pray for K*** and B***. That the Family Court hearing will not be
adjourned and that the Lord’s will might be done.
Please pray for L**** and C****, who have been placed in foster care. And for
their parents. From a grieving grandma.
Associate Officer
Major Gill Johnson
Corps Family
We received a call earlier this week to say that a former Salvationist at Bromley,
Ron Walker, has been promoted to glory. Some of you may remember Ron who
was both a bandsman and colour sergeant, and will want to uphold his wife
Marjorie in your prayers.
Jackie and Charles Durman wish to record their thanks for the many cards and
messages received in connection with the PTG of their mother, Commissioner
Vera Durman. They appreciate the support given during these days.
Flowers
We say thank you to Major Olive Hill for the flowers on the Altar Table today.

26th April 2015
Welcome to worship.
Our meetings today are being led by Commissioners Brian and Rosalie Peddle.
Brian and Rosalie are soldiers here at Bromley, and serve on IHQ with
responsibility for the Americas and Caribbean Zone.
This morning we will be looking at Acts 4: 1-14 – SEIZE THE MOMENT!
This evening the Commissioners will be sharing something of their calling,
stories, life and officer experiences as they chat with CSM Lynn ‘on the sofa’.
As part of our wider ministry, a recording of the morning meeting will be
available on the corps website - especially for those unable to attend, but also
for those wanting to listen to all or part of it again.
