Introduction by the General Manager
SWATYCOMET je novo ime evropske abrazivne branže in zaščitni znak za visoko kakovost,
zanesljivost in inovativnost. Leto 2010 je mejnik, ki zaznamuje ustanovitev družbe, pa
vendar je novost zgolj navidezna. Ustanovitev SWATYCOMETA pomeni združitev dveh
bogatih tradicij, dveh uglednih in uveljavljenih podjetij na številnih trgih. Usmerjeni smo v
izvoz, predvsem pa h kupcem in vedno v prihodnost.
SWATYCOMET is a new name in the European abrasive industry and a trademark of high quality, reliability
and innovation. The year 2010 represents a milestone that has marked the company’s founding, but
this novelty is only apparent because the founding of SWATYCOMET was actually a merger of two rich
traditions, two reputable companies which were both already well established in many markets. In our
operations, we are export-oriented, but above all customer- and future-oriented.
Ponosni smo na lasten razvoj izdelkov in tehnologij, ki ga v prvi vrsti omogočajo naši
strokovnjaki z bogatimi znanji in dolgoletnimi izkušnjami. Naša ponudba je izjemno široka,
saj odslej na enem mestu združujemo številne programe vseh vrst brusov in tehničnih
tkanin. Glavni izziv našega uspeha je odzivno izpolnjevanje pričakovanj naših kupcev, hitro
zaznavanje njihovih potreb in skupaj z njimi ustvarjanje vedno novih in še učinkovitejših

We are proud of our in-house product and technology development, which is made possible mainly by
our experts who boast a wide range of knowledge and many years of experience. Our product offerings
are extremely broad and we can now provide several product ranges in one place, including all types of
abrasive products and technical fabrics. The main challenge in our success is to ensure responsive fulfilment
of the expectations of our customers and to quickly perceive their needs, as well as to create ever new and
even more effective solutions of high added value in cooperation with them.
Pot k dokončni združitvi je bila zahtevna, a dobro premišljena in z jasno vizijo ustvarjanja
pozitivnih učinkov za vse člane našega partnerstva. Naši cilji so zastavljeni ambiciozno in
so zazrti v položaj med vodilnimi v Evropi. Za njihovo izpolnjevanje smo se zavezali k

SWATYCOMET je poslovni sistem, ki ga sestavlja pet povezanih družb iz Slovenije in drugih držav Evropske unije. Matično
podjetje SWATYCOMET ima sedež v Mariboru, prestolnici slovenske Štajerske, proizvodne prostore pa tudi v Zrečah, Ločah
in Oplotnici. SWATYCOMET je izvozno usmerjena družba, saj več kot 80 % prodaje predstavlja izvoz na številna tržišča po
vsem svetu. Ob tradicionalnih trgih Evropske unije, JV Evrope, Bližnjega vzhoda in Severne Amerike vse pomembnejšo vlogo
dobivajo trgi Južne Amerike, Rusije in Azije.
SWATYCOMET is a business system consisting of five affiliated companies from Slovenia and other EU countries. The parent
company, SWATYCOMET, is headquartered in Maribor, the capital of the Styrian region of Slovenia, but its manufacturing sites
are also located in Zreče, Loče and Oplotnica. SWATYCOMET is mainly export-oriented, as over 80% of its sales consist of exports
to many markets throughout the world. Along with its traditional markets within the European Union, SE Europe, Near East and
Northern America, various South American, Russian and Asian markets are also becoming increasingly more important for us.
