Salary: £8.18 per hour
Location: The Windings, Cable Drive, Helsby
Hours: 7 x 11 hour shifts over a three week rolling 7 day rota - (22:00 – 09:00) to include
weekends/Bank holidays – average weekly hours 25.67 hours

We are looking for Night Supervisors to deliver high quality night supervision to Retirement Living
scheme (RLS) services, ensuring that excellent customer service is achieved, performance is
maximised and that all activity supports the achievement of the Groups vision and is reflective of
older people’s aspirations.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. To carry out internal and external patrols, along with the monitoring of security and CCTV
systems to maximise residents’ safety and control access to the Scheme, ensuring all visitors
are signed in and out of the Scheme.
2. To deliver low level support to residents outside of normal working hours, ensuring round
the clock access to staff, services and facilities.
3. To carry out some communal cleaning and refuse management, assist with porterage
requests and communal room set ups and gritting pathways and car park areas as necessary
for the safety of residents, staff and visitors.
4. To deal with any emergencies or incidents that occur out of hours, ensuring that residents
and visitors comply with Scheme rules.
5. To ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that a response to fire
alarm activations is dealt with effectively, maintaining a safe environment.
6. To record all events in the Scheme log book, ensuring that relevant information is noted and
passed on to Your Housing Group day staff to deliver a continuous support service.
7. To carry out daily checks of internal and external communal areas reporting any repairs and
to assist with H&S inspections to communal areas.
8. Regularly monitor, have a general understanding of and be able to operate/set and reset the
fire alarm, heating system, door entry system, CCTV and fob setting arrangements, etc.
Report any faults requiring an emergency response.
