Meads Mill Mission Statement

Spring Break is Almost Here!!
Our last day of school before Spring Break is Thursday, April 2. School resumes on Monday, April 13. If
you will be traveling and know your student will miss additional school days, please send your child to
school with a note containing their name, the date(s) they will be absent, and your signature. The note should be
brought to the main office. The sooner we get notice of the absence, the better! If you forget to send a note, just
call the Attendance Line and let us know which days your student will miss school. If the office isn’t notified of an
absence, the student will be marked absent and unexcused for all days missed.
Testing Out and Online Learning Informational Night – Tuesday, March 31
On Tuesday, March 31, NHS will be discussing testing out and online learning
opportunities/policies (including 21f). This meeting for parents/students will be in the NHS
Cafeteria. Information for testing out will be shared at 6 pm (this includes any middle school student who
plans to test out of high school credit) and information about online learning opportunities will be given at
6:30 pm. Please see the attachments on the Meads webpage for more information.

3RD QUARTER PBIS CELEBRATION
Please sign up for the 3rd Quarter Celebration. We will be incorporating many activities into the morning.
Please sign up for the area you are interested. You can overlap decorations and another area. Please
sign in at the front office that morning and report to the PIT for your detailed assignments.

NHS Middle School Cheer Clinic
The NHS Cheer Program is offering a Stunt and Tumble Cheer Clinic for girls in grades 5 – 8.
Last clinic date is March 30, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm in the NHS Cafeteria. Registration at the
door is $60. See the attached registration form for more information.
Northville Middle School Pompon Tryouts
Open to all girls attending Meads Mill or Hillside in Fall, 2015. No previous experience
necessary. Tryouts will be held at Cooke School on March 31, April 1 & 2. See the flyer on
