First listen 2-3 times to the CD, while reading the text from the book. Then a few hours later listen once again to the CD, then check yourself by covering the Hebrew portion and saying aloud the vocabulary and the text in Hebrew as you look at the English – see how much you remember. The English serves as an "anchor" for remembering the short dialogues and questions. If you have difficulties, listen and read the material again. Only after feeling comfortable with the new text and vocabulary should you proceed to the next passage. Each section is linked like Lego railway cars, each fitted to the one before to make learning Hebrew reasonable and fun. Do Usually, students can study Hebrew successfully on their own by using Ulpan-Or study kits. O r- To achieve best results, we recommend studying using either our GDL (Guided Distance Learning) programs or our self study programs. n- In the GDL program students study with a personal coach from Ulpan-Or while lessons are conducted either over the internet or by phone. pa For the self study program, students initially get personal guidance from Ulpan-Or, and then get a detailed self-study program divided into sessions.
