In the Zdenko Andabak et al. (S1 1 K 017302 14 Krn) case, the Court rendered the decision
ordering the suspect Zdenko Andabak into one-month custody. Pursuant to this decision his
custody may last until 15 November 2014. In relation to the suspect Zoran Vrdoljak, the Court
imposed on him the following prohibitive measures: ban on leaving the place of residence (house
arrest); ban on travelling; ban on meeting with witnesses and accomplices. Zdenko Andabak and
Zoran Vrdoljak are suspected of the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.

The Court rendered the decision in the Stevo Jovanović et al. (S1 1 K 017259 14 Krn) case
ordering the suspects Stevo Jovanović and Milosav Jovanović into one-month custody. Pursuant
to this decision their custody may last until 16 November 2014. Stevo Jovanović and Milosav
Jovanović are suspected of the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.

In the Miroslav Rakić et al. (S1 2 K 015894 14 Ko) case, the Court rendered the decision
separating the proceedings in relation to the suspects Miroslav Flovarek, Dragan Šinik, Radomir
Đekić and Milan Samardžić, therefore from now on this case shall be conducted under the number
of Miroslav Flovarek et al. (S1 2 K 017329 14 Ko).

The Court rendered the decision in the Nevenko Božičić et al. (S1 2 K 017287 14 Krn) case
extending custody of the suspects Nevenko Božičić and Slavko Bibić for 15 days. Pursuant to this
decision their custody may last until 1 November 2014.

A representative of the Court took part in a conference held in the town of Kladanj, organized by
the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Republika Srpska. The conference represents a
continuation of the project dubbed „Court of BiH Support Network“ which aims to help strengthen
public confidence in judicial institutions, inform the citizens about the Court’s methods of operation
and contribute to the judicial efficiency and transparency. Citizens of Kladanj and the environs had
the opportunity to learn more about the Court's jurisdiction, organization and method of work, its
war crimes prosecution results, and the course of criminal proceedings.

On 16 October 2014, the Court confirmed the Indictment in the Zoran Gudalo (S1 2 K 017255 14
Ko) case charging Zoran Gudalo with the criminal offence of Illicit Trade.
•
In the Nenad Petrović et al. (S1 2 K 017151 14 Krn) case, the Court rendered the decision on 16
October 2014 terminating custody of the suspects Nenad Petrović and Mićo Trifković and imposing
on them the following prohibitive measures: ban on leaving the place of residence (house arrest);
ban on travelling; ban on meeting with certain persons.

The Court rendered the decision on 16 October 2014 in the Dragiša Brnić et al. (S1 2 K 012291
14 Krn) case extending custody of the suspects Dragiša Brnić, Neven Stanić, Duško Spasojević
and Edin Dugalić for two months. Pursuant to this decision their custody may last until 18
December 2014.

Regarding the case of Miodrag Ateljević (S1 2 K 011467 12 Kvl) the Court has been informed on
16 October 2014 by the Correctional and Penal Institution of Foča that convicted Miodrag Ateljević
shall be released under parole. His parole shall last from 15 November 2014 until 9 July 2015
when his prison sentence expires.

On 15 October 2014, the Court rendered the decision in the Željko Stanarević (S1 1 K 017149 14
Kro) case extending prohibitive measures of the accused Željko Stanarević.
•
In the Jasmin Ibraković (S1 3 K 014687 14 Kps) case, the Court on 15 October 2014 confirmed
the Indictment charging Jasmin Ibraković with continued criminal offence of Illicit Trafficking in
Narcotic Drugs.
•
On 14 October 2014, the Court confirmed the Indictment in the Novak Mitrović et al. (S1 1 K
016205 14 Kro) case charging Novak Mitrović and Dragan Glogovac with the criminal offence of
Crimes against Humanity under Article 141(1) of the CC SFRY.
•
In the Srećko Bošković (S1 1 K 017133 14 Kro) case, the Court confirmed the Indictment on 8
October 2014 charging Srećko Bošković with the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.
•
On 8 October 2014, the Court sent out the second-instance Verdict in the Esad Čandić (S1 2 K
015434 14 Kž) case dismissing as unfounded the appeal filed by the accused Esad Čandić and
confirming the first-instance Verdict of the Court.
•
On 18 July 2014, the Court confirmed the Indictment in the Dragan Maksimović (S1 1 K 016604
14 Kro) case charging Dragan Maksimović with the criminal offence of War Crimes against
Civilians.

The Court rendered the decision in the Stevo Jovanović et al. (S1 1 K 017259 14 Krn) case
ordering the suspects Marijan Jovanović and Slavko Jovanović into one-month custody. Pursuant
to this decision their custody may last until 17 November 2014. Marijan Jovanović and Slavko
Jovanović are suspected of the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.

At a plea hearing before Section I for War Crimes of the Court, in the Ekrem Ibračević et al. (S1 1
K 016488 14 Kro) case, the accused Ekrem Ibračević, Faruk Smajlović and Sejdalija Čović
pleaded not guilty for the criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians.
•
The Court reviewed justification of prohibitive measures in the Mehura Selimović et al. (S1 1K
003368 13 Kžk) case of the accused Mehura Selimović, Adil Ružnić and Emir Mustafić. The Court
found that reasons for the measures still remain. The next review will be on 20 December 2014.
•
In the Goran Jovanović et al. (S1 2 K 009297 12 Krn) case, the Court reviewed justification of
prohibitive measures of the suspect Goran Jovanović. The Court found that reasons for the
measures still remain. The next review will be on 20 December 2014.
•
The Court reviewed justification of prohibitive measures in the Marko Božinović et al. (S1 2 K
014960 14 K) case of the accused Marko Božinović, Robert Ljiljak, Momčilo Mijanović, Vanja
Kenjić and Vies Husković. The Court found that reasons for the measures still remain. The next
review will be on 20 December 2014.
•
Upon consideration and acceptance of Plea agreeements, the Court pronounced the following
Verdicts:
• Milijan Boras (S1 2 K 017003 14 K) finding the accused Milijan Boras guilty of the criminal
offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of Criminal Offences
of Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with the criminal offence of
Smuggling of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a suspended
sentence in the duration of six months in prison which shall not be executed if the accused
within two year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a new
criminal offence.
• Vedran Derviškadić (S1 2 K 017003 14 K) finding the accused Vedran Derviškadić guilty of
the criminal offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of
Criminal Offences of Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with
continued criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the
accused a suspended sentence in the duration of two years in prison which shall not be
executed if the accused within five year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes
final, does not commit a new criminal offence. As an accessory punishment, the Court fined
the accused with a BAM 2,000.00 fine.
• Željka Boras (S1 2 K 017003 14 K) finding the accused Željka Boras guilty of the criminal
offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of Criminal Offences
of Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with the criminal offence of
Smuggling of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a suspended
sentence in the duration of six months in prison which shall not be executed if the accused
within two year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a new
criminal offence.

At a plea hearing before Section III for General Crime of the Court, in the Fuad Zejnilović (S1 3 K
015934 14 Kps) case, the accused Fuad Zejnilović pleaded not guilty for the criminal offence of
Impermissible Use of Copyrights.
•
The Court delivered the Verdict in the Dražen Šiniković (S1 3 K 013524 14 Kvl) case modifying
the final Verdicts of the Court of BiH of 6 September 2013 and Higher Court in Novi Sad in the
sentencing part and imposing on convicted Dražen Šiniković a compound sentence in the duration
of six years in prison.

At a plea hearing before Section I for War Crimes of the Court, in the Muhamed Šišić et al. (S1 1
K 016447 14 Kro) case, the accused Muhamed Šišić and Emir Drakovac pleaded not guilty for the
criminal offence of War Crimes against Civilians and Emir Drakovac also pleaded not guilty for the
criminal offence of War Crimes against Prisoners of War.
•
In the Ekrem Ibračević et al. (S1 1 K 016488 14 Kro) case, the Court reviewed justification of
prohibitive measures for the accused Ekrem Ibračević, Faruk Smajlović and Sejdalija Čović. The
Court found that reasons for the measures still remain. The next review will be on 21 December
2014.

The Court pronounced the second-instance Verdict in the Aleksandra Rakić Novaković (S1 2 K
014061 14 Kžk) case acquitting the accused Aleksandra Rakić Novaković of the charges for Tax
Evasion.

Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Nikola Martinović (S1 2 K 017321 14 K) case finding the accused Nikola Martinović guilty of the
criminal offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of Criminal
Offences of Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with the criminal offence
of Smuggling of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a suspended sentence
in the duration of six months in prison which shall not be executed if the accused within two year
period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a new criminal offence.
•
In the Mario Šego et al. (S1 2 K 013147 13 K) case, the Court pronounced the first-instance
Verdict acquitting the accused Mario Šego and Šefik Hasanović of the charges for Lack of
Committment in Office and Forging of Official Documents and the accused Muhamed Gurbeta of
the charges for Forging of Official Documents and Abuse of Office or Official Authority.
•
Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Draženko Volaš et al. (S1 2 K 014504 14 K) case finding the accused Draženko Volaš and the
legal entity of „SISTEM EUROINVEST“, d.o.o Banja Luka guilty of continued criminal offence of
Tax Evasion. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused Draženko Volaš a suspended
sentence in the duration of ten months in prison which shall not be executed if the accused within
three year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a new criminal
offence. In relation to the accused the legal entity of „SISTEM EUROINVEST“ d.o.o. Banja Luka,
the Court imposed a BAM 5,000.00 fine. The Court seized from the accused Draženko Volaš and
the legal entity of „SISTEM EUROINVEST“ d.o.o. Banja Luka the amount of BAM 34,460.00 each
as the ill-gotten gain.

The Court accepted the Sentencing Warrant of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the Omer Keskin
(S1 3 K 015904 14 Kps) case finding the accused Omer Keskin guilty of the criminal offence of
Provoking Ethnic, Racial and Religious Hatred. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a
suspended sentence in the duration of three months in prison which shall not be executed if the
accused within one year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a
new criminal offence.
•
Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Zahir Hirkić (S1 3 K 016949 14 Kps) case finding the accused Zahir Hirkić guilty of the criminal
offence of Impermissible Use of Copyrights. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a
suspended sentence in the duration of three months in prison which shall not be executed if the
accused within one year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a
new criminal offence. The Court seized from the accused items used in the perpetration of a
criminal offence.

Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Denis Puljić (S1 2 K 017320 14 K) case finding the accused Denis Puljić guilty of the criminal
offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of Criminal Offences of
Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with the criminal offence of Smuggling
of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a suspended sentence in the
duration of one year in prison which shall not be executed if the accused within four year period of
time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a new criminal offence.

The Court pronounced the first-instance Verdict in the Bogdan Marušić (S1 2 K 015960 14 K)
case acquitting the accused Bogdan Marušić of the charges for continued criminal offence of Tax
Evasion.

In the Yavuz Avar (S1 3 K 017269 14 Eks) case, the Court rendered the decision extending
custody of the requested Yavuz Avar. Pursuant to this decision his custody may last until 13

At a plea hearing before Section I for War Crimes of the Court, in the Gligor Begović (S1 1 K
016600 14 Kro) case, the accused Gligor Begović pleaded not guilty for the criminal offences of
War Crimes against Prisoners of War and War Crimes against Civilians.
•
In the Mensur Memić et al. (S1 1 K 003369 10 KrI) case, the Court rendered the decision
terminating prohibitive measures for the accused Mensur Memić, Dževad Salčin and Senad
Hakalović.
•
At a plea heairng before Section I for War Crimes of the Court, in the Ramo Žilić et al. (S1 1 K
016058 14 Kro) case, the accused Ramo Žilić and Esad Gakić pleaded not guilty for the criminal
offence of War Crimes against Civilians.
•
The Appellate Panel of the Court rendered the decision in the Andrija Bjelošević et al. (S1 1 K
014931 14 Krn) case modifying the Court's decision of 30 September 2014 and extending custody
of the suspects Andrija Bjelošević, Milan Savić, Dušan Kuzmanović, Marinko Đukić, Miroslav
Pijunović, Dobrivoje Ćulibrk, Saša Gavranović, Vitomir Dević and Zoran Šljuka for two months.

Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Danijel Čepo (S1 2 K 017317 14 K) case finding the accused Danijel Čepo guilty of the criminal
offence of Organizing a Group of People or Association for Perpetration of Criminal Offences of
Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants in conjunction with continued criminal offence of
Smuggling of Persons. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a suspended sentence in
the duration of two years in prison which shall not be executed if the accused within five year period
of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final does not commit a new criminal offence. As an
accessory punishment, the Court fined the accused with a BAM 10,000.00 fine. The Court seized
from the accused the ill-gotten gain in the amount of Euro 760.00.

The Court rendered the decision in the Bojan Cvijan et al . (S1 2 K 015384 14 K) case terminating
for the accused Slaviša Bobar the measure of ban on travelling while other measures shall remain
in force.

In the Gani Alili (S1 3 K 017374 14 Eks) case, the Court rendered the decision ordering the
requested Gani Alili into 18 day custody. Pursuant to this decision his custody may last until 10
November 2014. Gani Alili is requested by the Basic Court in Skopje due to the Verdict of 14
January 2014 under which Gani Alili was found guilty of the criminal offence of Aggravated Theft
under Article 236(1) of the CC Macedonia and sentenced to one year and eight months in prison.

At a plea hearing before Section III for General Crime of the Court, in the Almir Šarotić et al. (S1 3
K 016421 14 Kps) case, the accused Almir Šarotić and Emir Bašić pleaded not guillty for the
criminal offence of Counterfeiting of Money.
•
Upon consideration and acceptance of a Plea agreement, the Court pronounced the Verdict in the
Nemanja Kutić (S1 3 K 015163 14 K ) case finding the accused Nemanja Kutić guilty of the
criminal offence of Counterfeiting of Money. In that regard, the Court imposed on the accused a
suspended sentence in the duration of eight months in prison which shall not be executed if the
accused within two year period of time, as of the day the Verdict becomes final, does not commit a
new criminal offence.
