W e are in need of volunteers for Thursdays, November 20, December 4, 11, & 18, and January 8, 15, 22, & 29; and Saturdays, November 22; December 6, 13, & 20, and January 10, 17, 24, & 31 in the Food Pantry. W e want to keep a minimum of five or maximum of six per day. Please pray about this and let Tom Culverwell know that you wish to help out. E-mail Tom at [email protected] or call his cell (904-2540063). This is a time of great uncertainly in His food pantry. There are changes afoot to both the USDA program and the bulk purchase program. The food pantry depends on these two programs for the bulk of the food distributed. W e are hearing a lot of speculation, but nothing concrete at this time. Please pray the we will continue to be stocked, and that we all have patience during this time of transition. Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Help Needed at Trinity Food Pantry Even if you can’t help on a regular basis, there are still things to be done in the food pantry that don’t require a regular commitment of your time. For example, every Monday we need help sorting and bagging a large shipment of bread and baked goods. The 3-ring binders containing the USDA forms for each client frequently need alphabetization and can be done sitting down. The food pantry needs periodic cleaning and perhaps you can help with this. Please see Tom Culverwell if you can help in the food pantry in any way. W e also desperately need paper and plastic bags, so please save yours and bring them to the church whenever you can. Remember it is God’s food pantry, and we all love to serve God, don’t we? Thank You Coffee Hosts Thanks to Joanne Martin and Cheryl Hoke for hosting coffee hour after 11:00 a.m. worship today. Next week’s coffee hour host will be Elenore Kripps, Betsy Lyerly and Mary Scroggins.
