Allegan Girls’ basketball won an exciting game where Leslie Scane made a 3 pointer to win the game 37-34. Karlie Wells was leading scorer with 13 points. 3 on 3 basketball tournament at lunch in the small gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring a group of 3 players and play to 3. Christian MacCartny’s original composition, Grass and Goodwins Mvt.1, has been chosen for performance in the 2015 Honors Composition Concert! The selection process was very difficult due to the large number of entries and he is to be commended for this honor and success! Auditions will be sometime in late January and she will notify via the school announcements when scripts are available for perusal. Meanwhile, you can brush-up by picking up the actual book and giving it a read-thru! The Allegan Tiger Tales Committee is proud to announce its seventeenth Annual Tiger Tales Literary Competition. Students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to submit entries in the following categories: short story, poetry, formal essay, personal narrative, and cover design. The contest opens Monday, November 3, 2014; it closes Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Students should see their English teachers for additional information.
