flats (for the beginning), white tights or ruffle socks, and blue ribbons for hair (and please let Mrs.Leon
know shoe size)
*Lion Mrs. Jezequel will provide the Lion costume. She will contact you if she needs any pieces
provided. You will need brown shoes.
*Tinman Mrs.Jezequel will provide the Tinman costume. She will contact you if she needs any pieces
provided. You will need black shoes.
*Scarecrow Mrs.Jezequel will provide the Scarecrow costume. She will contact you if she needs any
pieces provided. You will need brown shoes.
*Zeke, Hickory and Hunk You are farmhands.In the Kansas scene, we do not want any bright colors.
Please bring jeans, overalls, or brown or tan pants, a button up shirt (plaid or solid) in bland colors,
brown or tan shoe shoes.
*Aunt Em should look very plain and simple. Either a dress or a long skirt and blouse, both in dull colors
(browns, greys, black, navy, cream, dark flower pattern…). An apron at the waist, stockings (nude or
dark), and very plain ballet flat or low boot. A pair of glasses would be nice, but not necessary.
*Uncle Henry is a farmer. Please bring either jeans, khakis, or brown pants (courdoroy would be fine), a
button up shirt (either solid or plaid) in dull colors (browns, beige, grey, navy…) and brown or black
shoes or boots. A vest would be a nice addition to make him look different from the farmhands, but not
necessary.
*Talking Trees please bring brown or khaki long pants and brown shoes, and a long sleeve brown shirt.

*Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch Mrs. Jezequel will provide the witch costume. She will contact you if she
needs any pieces provided. Mrs. Leon will work on trying to borrow from the high school for Miss Gulch
and will be in touch. Both please bring black tights and black shoes. If you can get a ankle high, lace up
boot, it would be ideal. If not, a black shoe, but no heels or sparkle, and no sneakers.
*Professor Marvel Mrs. Leon will provide a vest and hat. Please bring white long sleeve shirt, dark tie,
black, navy, or brown pants, and black shoes.
*The Wizard Mrs. Leon will work on finding a green jacket and vest. Please bring white long sleeve shirt,
brown or black pants, and brown or black shoes.
*Glinda This is a great time to finally re-use that old puffy- sleeved, Pepto pink bridesmaid dress that
you or a friend has lying around the house!  Glinda will need a gown… please ask around, and we will
ask around also. If worse comes to worse, an actual Glinda costume could be ordered online. Please
bring white tights and silver shoes (no heel).
*Jitterbugs You will need a black long sleeve shirt (no logos or decoration), black long leggings, and
black shoes that you can dance in. We’ll provide the rest!
*Crows You will need a black long sleeve shirt (no logos or decoration), black long pants, and black
shoes that you can dance in. We’ll provide the rest!
*Flying Monkies You will need grey long pants, black shoes, and a long sleeve grey shirt (no logos or
decoration, preferably dark greys). We’ll provide the rest!
*Winkies You need a black long sleeve shirt (no logos or decoration), black long pants, and black shoes.
We’ll provide the rest!
*Ozians You will need to wear ALL green! Long or short sleeve shirt, layers, skirt with leggings, pants, or
capris, a dress, green shoes, green socks, you can add a vest or sweater, gloves, hair accessory, hat…
have fun with it, but mostly everything should be green! (I will take accents of beige, white or
yellow)(please no logos or name brands!) Remember, it does not need to look like something you would
want to wear in real life! I would love to see a lot of the girls in longer skirts or dresses.
*Munchkins
Mayor- Rather than try to create the chubby mayor from the movie, we are going a bit simple:pants
(shortened to knickers), suspenders, bright color button up shirt, bright adult-sized tie (but not the
clown style). I will see if I can get a fun colorful blazer too.
Barrister and Coroner- Mrs. Leon will bring in robes for you. We will try to make them look more like the
characters with felt panels. Please bring black long pants, black shoes, and a white long sleeve shirt (tshirt or button up) with no writing or graphics.
Lullabye League- we will be borrowing ballet costumes from Angie Kelly if we can get enough and they
fit  I will be in touch if it doesn’t work out. Please provide white tights and pink ballet slippers.
Lollipop guild- Please provide a BRIGHT button up shirt (plaid or solid) that can be cut at the sleeves and
bottom, and a matching color pant or sweatpant that can also be cut at the bottom. We will provide
matching striped socks for all. Please try for lace up shoes in black or brown.
Munchkin Chorus- GIRLS: Pleasebring YELLOW, BLUE, PINK, ORANGE OR PURPLE tops and leggings (or
tights) and shoes (for shoes I am thinking Converse, Keds, TOMS, ballet flats… preferably nothing really
athletic shoe looking)No brand names or graphics please. Stripes, dots, patterns are fine. Multiple colors
are fine. They should look very brightly colored!! (but try to avoid too much green, as that is the color
for emerald city).They can also layer with socks, two tops, vests, cardigans…We will have an arts and
crafts day to make matching skirts to kind of tie together everyone’s look. As we see costumes come
together, we might ask for hats, ties, headbands, etc.
