Earthquake in Nepal
Last week the most powerful earthquake in eighty years occurred in Nepal. In
Katmandu and different places in Nepal buildings, roads and entire villages
were destroyed. (They) felt the earthquake in north India and Tibet as well.
Thousands of people were killed and there are some who are still missing.
Several Israeli expeditions arrived in Nepal in the recent days in order to
rescue injured (people), help build hospitals as well as evacuate Israeli
tourists. Dozens of Israelis have already returned to Israel safely, among them
youngsters, families and babies.
